Water Bead Fishing Lake
Fill a container with water beads (blues & greens will look best for water). Add toy fish, a plastic boat, (I used a baggie as a net), and people.
Magnetic Fishing
Color and cut fish from cardstock. (I laminated ours as we use them often.) Slip a paper clip on each one. Make a fishing pole from a dowel rod, jute cord, and a magnet disc. Use hot glue to secure all pieces. Supervise your child at all times while playing with the rods to ensure the magnet discs do not come loose as they could be a dangerous choking hazard for small children.
Boat O’ Fish
Fold a sheet of paper in half. Fold each end back to to the center fold. Your paper should resemble a “W”. Open one side of your W and fold each corner down at a triangular angle. There should be 4 folds. Open the other side and fold the remaining 2 corners down at a triangular angle. Press all folds together. Everything should fit together neatly. Flip your boat over and open at the top. Allow your children to decorate the outside with crayons and stickers. Say, “Jesus said put in your nets” (Fill with goldfish and say:) “As soon as the nets hit the water, they were filled with fish!”
